NOT JUST A STATISTIC PROJECT
Sharing Our Experiences with Lung Cancer
Many people have had experiences with lung cancer, either personally or through family or friends. However, lung cancer is rarely talked about and is often surrounded by misconceptions. Despite being the leading cause of cancer-related death in the world, awareness of lung cancer in the community and among international, national, state, and local leaders remains extremely low.
The American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative is working to change this by shining a light on people's experiences with lung cancer. The goal of the Not Just a Statistic Project is to provide a platform to share people's experiences with lung cancer. Through sharing these experiences with lung cancer, we aim to inspire hope in others and increase awareness of lung cancer in our communities.
If you would like to share your experience with lung cancer, please complete the form below. You can include as much detail as you feel comfortable with and can keep everything anonymous if you would like. Every shared story is a step forward to raise more awareness about lung cancer and lung cancer screening!
